Aaron M. Muhly
Aaron is an experienced trainer and L&D expert. He works with law firms, law schools, and legal departments around the world on boosting the effectiveness of their communication skills in core areas, including legal writing, negotiation, presentation, and business development.
Professional Background
Aaron began his career as an associate at Chicago's premier litigation firm, Jenner & Block. Subsequently, he switched careers and assumed the role of professional development officer for Baker & McKenzie. In this role, he developed and delivered skills training for lawyers, including many courses aimed at helping non-native English-speaking lawyers work confidently and effectively in English.
Trainer Experience
For the last 15 years, Aaron has been working as a trainer and L&D consultant for law firms. In connection with Evelaw, he has established a series of offline and online training courses focusing on the core communications needs of his clients, including the following courses:

Education
Aaron earned a BA (Government) from Dartmouth College. He also earned a JD from the University of Iowa College of Law. During his legal studies, he was selected to be the first participant in a judicial externship program with the Delaware Supreme Court, where he worked under the supervision of Justice Randy J. Holland.
Judd Lawler
Judd is a retired litigator who helps lawyers improve their communication skills and make their work more valuable to clients. He acquired his skills the old-fashioned way — by making embarrassing mistakes. He enjoys helping young lawyers avoid repeating his mistakes.
Professional Background
Judd began his career as a litigation associate at White & Case LLP in Washington, DC, and New York. He was then hired by future FBI Director James Comey to serve as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in New York. In that capacity, he represented the United States in a wide array of disputes, including matters involving the Enron bankruptcy, a foreign state's gold deposits at the Federal Reserve Bank, a private attempt to detain an ambassador to the United Nations, and the prosecution of former corporate executives of Adelphia Communications.
Currently, he sits on multiple non-profit boards and advises local groups and individuals in their inter-company and governmental interactions.

Judd is an expert in effective and persuasive writing. With Evelaw, he provides courses on how to shape legal writing to enhance its clarity and maximize its value for readers.
Education
Judd received a BA (History) from Yale College. He was awarded a JD and graduated cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center.
Peter Horvath
Peter is an expert in providing training and consulting to law firms on business development. He works with law firms around the world on helping their lawyers attract and retain clients by understanding the financial mindsets of companies.
Professional Background
Peter began his career as an associate with Norton Rose, working in both their Budapest and London offices. Subsequently, Peter went in-house to assume the role of Trigranit’s General Counsel for Poland and Romania. Currently, he regularly works with privately-held companies to assist management in organizing the legal and financial aspects of complex international transactions and legal proceedings.
Trainer Experience
Peter gained valuable skills in intercultural HR development during his time working as an in-house counsel. In connection with Evelaw, he has developed a series of mini-MBA courses aimed at helping lawyers acquire the skills and knowledge to effectively communicate with management at companies.
Education
Peter earned his law degree from Eotvos Lorand Universtiy in Budapest. He has also received an LLM from Columbia Law School in New York and an MBA from Cass Business School in London.
